Records are presented as a percentage of the total number of Official Records received for the species in question, over the course of the 17 week Greenwave project period. You can rollover a data point on the chart to see that week's specific figures.
Rainfall or Temperature data can be displayed on the chart for each species by clicking on the checkboxes.
You can also include previous years' sightings of each species - allowing you to compare when the species saw their most active period. The frog species was introduced in 2008 and as a result data for 2007 is not available.
Please note that a new method of recording sightings (distinguishing between "Official Records" and "Observations") was introduced for spring 2009. This will make the Greenwave project more accurate in the future but in the short term there has been an apparent decrease in the overall number of sightings recorded.
