The temperature data used in these charts is gathered from Met Éireann. For each day of the project we gather the maximum and minimum temperature from each of the 16 weather stations around the country. Using this information we calculate an average for each station for each day of the week which can then be used to calculate the average weekly temperature for the entire country.
